It appears that when I upload something, I always end up in a “preview” type view. Is there a way to center it on the work surface? Besides wanting to edit the project some in easel, having it on my work surface is important to me. Any assistance on this pls?
Imported G Code in Easel cannot be edited in Easel. Easel is showing you the cutting paths it’s going to perform. Based on the image you have submitted your carve will begin in the x/y center which will be wherever your x/y is when you press start.

In V-Carve Pro you define work zero there, Easel just mirror whatever point you defined there.
I am not an V-Carve user so cant comment on “how”
