Will X-Carve fit my needs

Hey everyone
I am looking for a small inexpensive machine to cut parts out of 5/8" recycled HDPE. The bigger x-carve seems to fit the bill.
I know I can run the machine but am kind of lost in all the talk about this part and that part ( will probably make more sense when it is in front of me).
Also looking for software that I can layout my parts before sending them to easel. I am use sign lab at work but I can’t save as a svg file.
I am looking to kinda run production parts on a small scale.
Thanks
Seth

Inscape is good for this. There is good chance that it will be able to open one of the formats Sign lab can export to and save it as a svg to send to easel.

Thanks i will look into ink scape.
