I was watching the local new and found out my local library has a free maker space with the following machines;
Ultimaker 2+ Printers
Next Engine 3D Scanner Ultra HD
Silhouette Cameo Paper Cutter
video and audio studios
and all the software to go with them
Machines are free to use just need to buy your own supplies
Our library has been doing this for several years now. They even have free classes. Libraries are an excellent untapped resource.
I think with the internet the library has become a forgotten resource
@GlennMDutcher: Which library?
We have a Carvey @ the Chicago Public Library’s downtown location available for use, pretty much any time between workshops or during open shop. It’s fun seeing what people make.
