Has anybody consider doubling up x axis motors. I find that that is my greatest limit for feed rate optimization
Are you trying to have more power applied on the X axis? You can swap out the motor for a larger motor with more torque.
Please elaborate…
I am just saying it is much easier to swap out your existing X motor with a larger motor with more holding torque than trying to use two motors on the X axis
you could use a lead screw and it will be rigid.
I think someone here did just that.
