I’d like to start off by saying I am completely new to CNC machines and this is my first encounter with anything like this machine. I’ve recently assembled my X-Carve and can not get it to move along the x and y axis without it binding up and not wanting to move either at all or the full distance. I have tried adjusting the belts and pulleys as well as checking to insure the rails are square. Does anyone know of anything else that I could check or do? Thank you for your help!
You didn’t mention the V-wheels. Did you check them to see if they are too tight?
Also, you may need to adjust your current limits for the stepper motors, if you’re using the gShield.
