Guilty as charged, I must admit.

I’m located in Kristiansand and Birkenes, in southern Norway

It’s going to be interesting to see how many scandinavians are lurking around this forum

Fredrik

Me and my x-carve are both sitting in Gothenburg Sweden.

I am also located in Gothenburg and have just bought a used X-Carve, so i am the second owner of this machine and i am still learning how to use it.

I’m in Örnsköldsvik, Sweden

Got my 1000mm X-Carve about two months ago and recently upgraded the spindle to the DeWalt DWP611. Works great for my needs which is mainly guitarmaking stuff.

Hi all
This is a good tread for us nordic ice people

My name is helge dokken and im located in Karmøy Norway.

Im mostly into woodwork and use the lathe the most.

Have been using the X carve for a good week or so now,and i must say im impressed, what a piece of kit this is going to be a gamechanger for me and my projects

Originally from Haugesund Norway, but moved to Texas 25 years ago.

Still using the Shapeoko 2, for about a year now. Just updated to the 1000x1000.

Located in Harestua, Oppland, Norway.

Got a 500mm X-carve sitting in my garage with brand new Makita router installed. I am also brand new to woodworking and cnc.

Victor @Hokksund,Norway

Great to see there are some other nerds out there aswell

Hei,

Anders fra Oslo her

Har XC 500. Ikke helt ferdig med bygging.
Mangler brakett for Makita før testing kan starte.

Hvor får du braketten til Makitaen fra? Lest at flere bruker en krave (3D-printet) for å fylle ut Dewalt braketten.

Kjempeflott

Hi guys

Any tips for getting small amounts of mdf, plywood, etc in Norway? Maxbo and Byggmakker tends to have 2400 mm x 1600 mm only

/Kyrre

Visit their store at Storo, Oslo if that is within reach. They do alot of custom cuts from large pieces of MDF for customers. Leftovers they cuts square and leave for others to buy if they need smaller pieces.

Hey Guys!

I just moved to Stockholm from Melbourne. I’m looking at purchasing an x-carve. Is there a supplier in Scandinavia? Or is the UK the best place to look. Looking forward to future discussions with you guys!

Cheers,

Ash
