X carve run time

How long is to long to let the x carve run? Have some 2hr plus carves want to do but never ran it that long. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

On the computer make sure sleep settings are set to always on,
AND disable usb selective suspend.

& you can turn off windows updates if you like but i don’t usually do this as I’ve set times for windows to do updates in the middle of the night…

Thanks for the info. It should be ok to allow the x carve to run continuously for the whole carve or should I pause to allow the router to cool?

The router is air cooled, many many users run then for 12+ hours at a time without issue.

If the shop air is over 100⁰F, then I might be a little concerned.
