My x carve won’t cut the set depth I want it to. The bit is on pretty tight. And I don’t know if their is a master depth that it is set to

Is this by chance a new Xcarve?
There is an issue with the assembly manual that plagues new owners if the new version xcarve with the linear rail style z axis.
