Does anyone leave the X controller on all the time, or do you turn it off at the end of your work session?
I always turn mine off, not just to save power, but to help keep the electronics clean as the fan motor runs continuously if you don’t. Also, if you have your motors set to apply full torque, your steppers are sitting there the whole time holding torque getting toasty…
I wouldn’t leave it on unless I’m using it no matter what. It only takes a minute or two for it to boot and get it homed and ready for a carve.
