Wow, what a screw up you guys have done with Easel setup. First off running Easel setup solely for the purpose of enabling the touch plate just blew away all my existing settings including the calibration settings I spent a lot of time tweaking. Fortunately I just happened to think beforehand to go into the machine inspector and note them all down, otherwise I'd be REALLY upset right now as I'm sure others will end up being sooner or later.
Also I'm assuming that since I already had homing switches enabled as well as soft limits the initial screen which tests motion in each of the axis doesn't work - the machine won't move until the homing switches screen which performs a homing sequence.
And then the touch probe screen wouldn't actually detect the touch probe contact, and just to make things extra special you don't provide any way to get out of that screen besides touching the probe - how about a cancel button just in case???
It's pretty clear that this was not well tested.
