Is there anyone on here who have upgraded their CNC table? I’ve tried making new slabs out of MDF, and they just don’t hold up well. The slabs ended up bowing in the middle due to the weight of them, and I can’t source the same strong material that Inventables used for their slabs. The original slabs they sent me never matched up on the hole patterns which is why I decided to make new ones. At this point I’m thinking about going big, and just crafting an aluminum extrusion table that covers the entire table top kind of like the Shark CNCs. I’d rather not if i don’t have to, but at this point I’m over the MDF route. Quite frankly I’m close to just canning the entire CNC, and going with a different brand…
