Rookie question most likely…when I jog my Y axis to home position, the left side stops when it hits the limit switch, but the right side keeps going resulting in a crooked y axis gantry. Is there a simple solution to this? Or do I need to make a physical stop, or add another limit switch to that side as well?
The switches are not limit switches, the switches only work when homing the machine. If you go to far with jogging or if the carve is to big the limit switches will not stop it.
The only reason the left side of the Y is stopping is because it physically cant go anywhere, the right side can.
