The z axis moves when it should be the y axis. Tried to un install and start again. But once we get it to the start of a project. We try to raise the bit like it says to do and then the bed slides back and won’t begin the project. We have a yorahome 3018 cnc with easel pro. Does anyone have any suggestions
Switch the z and x plugs on the controller board, the cables have been routed incorrectly. Simply switchind these plugs will resolve the axis swap issue. You may then want to redo the machine setup in order to get the directions correct if any axis is jogging inverted directions… and note that forward jog in the Y on a 3018 should actually jog the bed backwards. Not forwards. And vice versa with the back command.
