Z-axis is off as X-axis increases

I’m trying to run a carve with three circles set inside three hexagonal shapes.

Circle1/hexagon1 carve okay, but at about 75% of the depth I set the carve to.
Circle/hex 2 and 3 are carving way too shallow-- about 2 mm deep instead of 8mm.

When I look at the gcode, the Carvey thinks its work position is -.7mm when it is still clearly carving in the air above the material.
The work bed and the material I am carving are both level.
Any suggestions?

Sounds like you’re either losing steps in your Z axis or the spindle is loose and sliding up in it’s holder.
