I just created a 4" dust collector with a magnetic connection I wanted to share
It is designed to work with the original latch and connector, but also has the flexibility to detach with the magnets for quick final cleanup. The magnets are 8mmx3mm from amazon
I 3d printed it on an SLA printer so it is extremely high quality and very durable. it could easily be done on a fdm with sufficient build size.
