I’m new to cnc carving and there is a bit of a learning curve I finally figured out that my genmitsu 4040 pro and easel thought my z probe was thicker than it was. So I set up a 2 stage project the roughing worked amazing then when I went to start the finish I work zeroed the machine set the z probe the project started moved into the work area lowered the bit almost in contact with work surface and alarmed out. I’ve retried it 4 different times all with the same results. Can someone please help?
You might want to check the settings for your Z axis if the X and Y looks OK.
