Can someone help me figure out what to get to mount a 4th axis with the tail stock.
I bought one off of ebay and I need to know where I can get an inexpensive mounting for it.
I would like it to work similar to lathes where you use adjustment to center then a lever to tighten it after sliding it on a rail.
Any suggestions would be helpful.
If it is the typical 4th , don’t they have slots for mounting? I’d get some tee nuts or other type of brass inserts installed in the table. My concern would be the clearance between your bit and the collet of the router. I’d suspect you’d have to raise up the makerslide or use short bits with a small clearance plane.
