I’m new to cnc world and deciding if I should go ahead with X Carve Pro. Can anyone tell me what benefits X Carve Pro has compare to for example Shapeoko 5 pro which is $5,000 cheaper. I can’t find any comparison. Thank you
I have only owned an Inventables CNC unit. I started with the base model 1000mm. I quickly learned that I had limitations on thickness and cutting time was long on some patterns. I upgraded to the newest version and loved the accuracy and strength of the new Makita router, ability to do thicker pieces, but was limited to size. So I upgraded to the 4X4 X Carve Pro. I have not had a single limitation, and all my projects now take half or less time with the new unit. I Love my system and yes I use Easel. I have had no limitations with it and have started doing 3D (STL) projects too.
