After I upgraded my Z-Axis, the Z-probe operation stops halfway with an error. Restarting the probe finishes the job. Not a showstopper but very annoying.
I am going to say your new z has finer threads therefore the z probe is moving much slower and it’s stopping because it thinks it has moved further then it actually has. You need to check the calibration and adjust for differences.

Turns out it was a bit of operator error. I hadn’t looked at the “Advanced” probe settings. The max probe depth defaults to 75mm while the full travel of the upgraded Z-axis is > 150mm. I set it to 150mm and Easel griped that it was “out of range,” but it worked just fine.
