I bought a second had xcarve and it worked fine couple of times but then it stopped moving when I was trying to home the machine. It started by making a grinding sound in the y-axis ( slipping) then it stopped all together for all axes and it wont move at all. I can hear the motor trying to move (very low sound) but no movement.
I checked the limit switches using the machine inspector option and noticed that the Y-limit is always green even if I discount the wires for the limit. the Z and X limits work fine.
Does anyone have an idea to why or how to further troubleshoot it or fix it?! can it be the machine settings ?
