Any idea how we can upgrade x-carve to have 40W Laser Cutter

Hello - Do you have any photos of a logo or graphics into a sheet of cast acrylic? not deep but just into the surface so it looks good - What about the 2.0 vs the 2. laser8 - also i plan on cutting thru 1mm styrene for parts - think it will work?

I haven’t used the laser with acrylics yet or cut styrene. I use the laser to engrave wood.

the 2 is on its way out - 2.8 is the way to go - but theres some variables/tinker on the color of material of the acrylic - the laser does not see some materials or glossy has problems - think i will invest in a vinyl plotter to make masks and small sandblast cabinet to get the results I’m after

You could just use a drag knife rather than purchasing a separate vinyl cutter:
