Anyone use the CNC4Newbie upgrade with the XCarve dust shoe?

Hi all,

I just installed and set up the 6” Z axis slider by CNC4Newbie and am trying to find a way to retrofit the Dust shoe that inventables sells.

Has anyone done this? How’d you do it?

I pulled the top and bottom brackets off, used the 2 side extrusions by screwing them directly to the carriage on both sides of the new Z axis. I’ll send some pics. I know I have some already in another thread but couldn’t find the thread…

Do you have the suckit dust boot or the one by inventables?
