Today I’m going to attempt this tailpiece out of ebony for an archtop guitar I’m working on.
No. The construction of archtop body and neck predate the cnc machine purchase. Otherwise I probably would have used easel to rough out the top and bottom plates and maybe even the radiused fretboard! Next time. I may take a shot at cnc’ing the the bridge as well. I’ve seen other have been quite successful with that.
I really admire you guys that build hollow body and acoustic instruments, I would love to try something like that one of these days.
