Looking to be able to rough with a ballnose. Doesnt seem to be an option when I go into adding roughing bits.
Has anyone found a way to do this, or a workaround?
Just tell Easel that it is a straight bit, I lie to Easel quite often.
Only time I use a ball nose for roughing is if it is a quick carve and I do not want to bother changing bits for the detail carve. Recently have been skipping the roughing carve on some jobs and just running the finish. I do use a smaller step over when I do that.
