Big Red Stop button not working

I just got my x carve assembled and started to test it. When I installed the big red panic button the green light doesn’t come on. When I take it off the socket it comes on. Is the kill switch a momentary switch and does not have to be turned to reset.

You have to give it a good pull up as well. When I first assembled mine I twisted till I was blue in the face. When I finally pulled it up I thought I broke it for a second. But it was good. Twisting alone won’t do it.

Thank you. That was the problem. It worked. I didn’t want to break it.
