I bit broke inside my Makita router, and I can’t take it out. Can someone give me tips on how I can take it out. Picture included.
Put the collet nut back on loose not tighten, use the wench and hit it on the side of the collet nut should come loose after several strikes.

I will try that. I was trying all evening yesterday and we just couldn’t take it off.

I am not familiar with that model but it looks like the collet is set really deep. Do you have the correct size bit in there?

I believe so.
that’s how it’s designed. cleaning every once and awhile will eliminate the getting stuck part.
