Buying files online, how do you create toolpaths and G code with Ea

If I download projects from Etsy, etc., how do I import them and create toolpaths and ultimately G code with Easel Pro? I’m a newbie and want to use some premade designs to get comfortable with the whole design CAD process.
From one vendor:
3D files (STP, STL, OBJ, IGES) of each clamp
• SVG/DXF Files:
• SVG/DXF layered file of all clamps
• SVG/DXF layered file of hold down toe clamps combined
• SVG/DXF layered file of cam clamps combined
• SVG/DXF layered file of corner and edge clamps combined
• PDF file with instructions for VCarve/Aspire - importing vectors from DXF format and creating toolpaths
• TXT file with suggested depths of layers for SVG/DXF

Thank you
Phil

I routinely use DXF and STL files for 2 and 3 d work respectively. If you click on the import button in Easel (On the left side, 2nd from bottom) you will see the formats you can import. If you have Gcode files, they should have had a GRBL post processor that produced it. Some G codes are not accepted by GRBL, but software like Mach3 can run them. Gcode are lines of text and you can open a text editor like notepad or wordpad to edit them. Back when I started this you had to write your own programs, so I learned the hard way. It’s kind of like a language. It’s worth the effort to learn what the codes do.
