Cabinet Assembly with Blind Dados

I am very new to CNC and cabinet making. Please forgive me if this is a dumb question. I was making some wall cabinets and selected the Blind Dados… when try to put the cabinets together things dont seem to fit and I have to make some manual cuts to get things to come together completely.

Am i missing something, its mainly the back board of the cabinet is too long/wide and has to be cut down to allow for the dados to fit into the pockets.

Anyone else have this issue or maybe i am just doing things wrong. ?

I was being stupid. I had turned the top and bottom the wrong way. Sorry about the stupid question, but maybe someone has done this also and it will help them.

Hi Chris,

It’s an easy mistake to make, and I am glad you figured it out. We are thinking about ways to make panel direction and assembly easier, including labeling. Thanks for the feedback!
