I have a 3018 pro Sainsmart. The only way I can get my spindle to work is by going to advanced machine settings and entering command through grbl console. M3 to turn it on and M5 for off. When I go through Carve process and get to point where program tells me to turn on spindle, nothing happens. Machine setting for spindle is manual which has always worked fine in the past.
No. It needs to be Automatic to send the spindle commands.
Manual means you turn it on and off.
