Can't remember why I bought it

Whilst packing up my workshop in readiness to move house, i found two brand new whiteside 1/8" single flute straight bits with a 1/4" shank. Also ways nice to find new bits, problem is i can’t remember why i bought them. I normally use a 2 flute down or up-cut bit depending on the material.

What is a 1/8" straight bit good for?

Moving house sucks bit style. Don’t know how it is in the US but in the UK is a massive pain in the backside.

I think the straight bits are better for foams and some plastics.

I too will have to move again. Here in the US moving really sucks. Especially when you have a lot of power tools…

Maybe you planned in doing some Aluminum.

I usually can’t remember where i put something after i’ve bought it. :grinning:
