Carve button will not turn GREEN

I typically use a MacBook Air when I connect to my Carvey and it works perfectly. Now I also have a Mac Mini that runs the same safari browser and same operating system and for some reason it will not detect the machine. I tried plugging the machine into different USB ports and cannot get the carve button to go green. I’m really out of ideas and any help would be appreciated!

I downloaded the Easel package 0.3.8 and it said it successfully installed. I’m not sure if there is more I need to do after that?

Might sound stupid but make sure the estop isn’t pressed/stuck i had a similar issue where it landed up being my estop being stuck. Pushing it in and twisting it firmly solved the issue
