Carving long boards

Hello…I got the m/c sussed out now, quite easy to use and so on.

I have a project that will be 1.4M long. I can design the carve in Easel, no drama.

How would I ‘register’ the 2 carves that I would have to do to complete the project?

I did look in the forum, but I think I am not using the correct search term.

If you have a 1000X1000 X-carve, you might see if your tool paths would fit along the diagonal, You might be able to just sneak it in if you angle the work piece by 45 degrees.

You may also want to look for “registration pins” which will show you how to make sure your alignment is correct when you move the piece.
