Please, somebody tell me, if there is a reference, for changing this part, but, I would like if the bit’s adjust is tool free, I mean, just to insert and voilá!
I’m seeing, that every time, I adjust with a wrench the bit, I start to inflict too much force to the nut, and I guess it will be affecting the whole axis structure finally
To my knowledge there is not “tool free” option for router bit changes.
For the Dewalt make sure the collet is snapped into the nut. Not a ot of torque is required to hold bits that are correct size. Maybe 30-40 ft/lbs.
