I’ve agreed to “restore” (ie, build a new) an old family sign for someone. He sent me a photo of part of it (a carving in wood) and I’m trying to figure out how to clean it up so that I can import it into easel. (Photo attached for reference). Any ideas? The image is too “dirty” to straight import so I’m at a loss (other than try to freehand draw it (which is a bad idea. My art skills are lacking).
