i like this idea, too. only thing i would personally upgrade on it is get away from the spacing blocks, and maybe us a pair of those horizontal clamps with the little lever for quick changes.

I know this was last year, but I for the life of me can not remember how to do that corner hole. I thought it was combine but it is giving me shit.
Make two rectangles, one for X and one for Y, set both to fill and full depth.
Place a circle (set to fill, zero depth) over the intended position and combine it with the X/Y rectangle.
Done
