Trying to save material and combine a couple of separate projects into one cut. In looking at the forum, this question was posted by a member back in 2016. It was stated that you simply “copy and paste” one project into another. For the life of me, I cannot get that to work. Is there something I’m missing or is this process not applicable anymore? Any help would be appreciated.
You can go to one project and click on the drawing…you’ll get a box around it. Then up above it click on “Edit”. Scroll down to copy… now you can go to the other project file and click on “Edit” the same way and Paste it. You’ll no doubt have to move things around and change the material size. Here I have one project with a script name and the other a guitar body. I copied the name and pasted it on the guitar body.
I’ve had trouble a few times with Copy and Paste using a HP laptop. I restarted my computer and that corrected the problem
