Description of the requested feature:
- expand the orientation and customization for nesting in the CNC cut list feature.
What need or problem does this address?
- currently if your machine is unable to cut an object due to its size and orientation the software won’t automatically spin on object if it can by cut in a different orientation, for example in attempting to cut doors, my machine is capable of cutting 48” wide but only 32” tall. But I’m unable to cut the doors on the machine because it won’t spin the doors to fit. I feel as though the software should recognize this automatically and make the doors fit in whatever orientation. It would likely cause more waste but that is our choice and shouldn’t be limited in the software. This can be done with an optimizer after the g-code is created but that is just adding an extra step.
