Cutting submerged

Has anyone ever successfully cut aluminum or something like that submerged? Do you have to worry about getting the lubricant all over the place? Seems like a good way to do metal and maybe even plastic cutting, and yet I don’t think I’ve seen any posts about it, so I’m wondering if I’m missing something.

check out this thread, buddy makes a karambit knife out of a saw blade submerged in oil.

Thanks! That answers my other question – how to keep it in place. Looks like glue in that case.

Glue or I bet in that case he could of also screwed it in place between the teeth or drilled holes.

I have successfully cut this coin (see pic)
What I did was use 3in1 oil. I used an eye dropper to put a small drop every few min or when the metal looked dry.
This is aluminum flatbar
