Depth per pass can't go lower than ~0.1mm?

Hello!

I have a two questions partially related to cut settings, and user experience.

I created a text model and want to cut its outline to a depth of 0.1mm using five tool passes, each with a depth of 0.02mm (5 x 0.02mm = 0.1mm). As I understand it, this should be achievable using the “Depth per pass” option in “Cut settings.” However, after setting the expected pass depth to 0.02mm, Easel generates only one pass instead of the expected five passes.

Similarly, when I set the cutting depth to 1mm and “Depth per pass” to 0.2mm, I get the expected result: the software generates exactly five tool passes.

Another question concerns viewing the tool’s coordinates in the cutting process simulation. Is there any way to check the simulated x, y, and z coordinates of the tool during the preview?

Both issues are quite important for the process I’m designing.

Thank you in advance for any input!

I was playing a bit with this issue, and noticed that when I switch my Easel to inches instead of using mm, and recalculate my depths from mm, to inches (0.1mm = ~0.00393700787in; and 0.02mm = ~0.000787401575in) and use this values in cut depth, and depth per pass everything works as expected (maybe it’s hard to spot on attached screenshot, but in simulation I’ve got exactly 5 passes as I expect):

So I think this could be reported as a bug to developers team.
