Depth per pass

Does anyone know if the finishing depth per pass in 3d is fixed

? I’ve not heard of it being unfixed?

I know that if the model size in Z is set to be taller than the Z matetial thicknesd that this can mess up carve depths… but other than that its worked fine for every project ive seen.

What is the issue specifically?
And do you have a project you can share thay exhobits the issue?

Thanks Seth, it’s just that the finishing bit seems to plunge deep, and sometimes will plunge, and jam, meaning I either start again or forget the whole piece
