Dove tail joint

Anyone master a dove tail joint yet . Or is there an app for easel?

With dove tails, you typically have to carve on one piece laying horizontal and another piece clamped vertically. Some CNCs can get the spindle over the edge of the bed where a board can be clamped vertically. If you can do that, you can use a standard dovetail bit in your CNC and make the cuts.

I don’t see an Easel App for dove tails. I don’t know if there is something in Easel Pro.

This youTube video shows what you can do with a straight bit to make various interlocking joints which are like dove tails. Again, you will need to carve on one board that is horizontal and another that is vertical.

There are ways of carving finger joints on a CNC with all boards horizontal.
