Drag chain hitting x-axis motor

Hi all,

I’m in the process of setting up my 1000mm X-carve and have run into an issue with the drag chain. I can’t seem to get the positioning right. The X-axis motor is hitting the drag chain on the extrusion bar and preventing the router from reaching the far end of the bar. Do I need a longer drag chain or do I have something set up incorrectly?

A photo would be helpful.
Do you have the extrusion bar mounted too high?

Do you have the drag chain facing the correct direction?

I believe the extrusion bar is at the correct height. The drag chain is facing the correct direction from what I can tell of the images in the directions.

do you have the brackets installed with the mount hole lower than the two screws that hold it on the plate? notice in the picture from the assembly that the hole the 20X20 extrusion fits on is lower than the two holes that mount it to the side plate.

here is a better view from the CAD PDF file

That was the issue! I had one on correctly and the other one on upside down. Thank you for the help!
