on trying to install drive chain on X axis, all is fine at the attachment at spindle, but when I secure the chain to the 3/4 inch beam that runs on x axis the stepper motor will not clear the drive chain. The needed clearance is about 1/4 inch and I can find no way to obtain that. This is on the 1000mm unit if that makes a difference in installation.
Either way, if you use drive belt, this scenario doesn’t make much sense. Now, when you use the term drag chain, certainly makes more sense as to what the problem could be. Although a picture would be helpful.
