DW660 Mount Screws - Not Long Enough

Has anyone using the DW660 successfully mounted it? The packet of screws that it came with will not fit. There is no way the long screws will reach the back part of the bracket. They are too short with the lock washer.

I am doing my best to be patient, but I am now on well over a week since my original packages arrived and still no CNC together because of a few part issues. The customer service has been amazing, so it is hard to be mad, but I am frustrated just because I want to get this thing together.

Hoping I am just doing something wrong instead of the wrong screws.

Looks like maybe the DeWalt kit came with the wrong screws. I had this issue as well. What fits are M5x40s.
