Hey folks! Apologies for the belated update due to being out of the office last week. Here’s the latest -

  • Ability to edit checklists
  • Add titles to notes, images, and checklists
  • Account page updates

In Progress

  • Sort and filter notes, images, and checklists within a job
  • Ability to place base cabinets as islands with Island layouts
  • Inputs to specify island position in room

  • Ability to save cut lists from current settings with nesting optimization

Released/Completed this week

  • Load Easel or Cabinetmaker by default when signed in based on last-used app

    • This change is intended to make it easier to get to your desired application when loading easel.com or easel.inventables.com, whether that is Cabinetmaker or the “original” Easel. If you remain signed into your account in your web browser, the next time you load easel.com, we’ll take you to whichever app you most recently used.
  • Include icons in room layout options

  • Ability to search jobs on the dashboard

Additional Updates

  • We’ll be adding Island room layouts so you can place base cabinets anywhere along the floor to create island arrangements. We expect to release these new layouts to everyone very soon, and we look forward to your feedback as we continue working on positioning and layout interactions.

  • We have a few more steps to complete before sharing the real-time nesting optimization updates we’ve been working on. Stay tuned though as we begin opening up this new feature for user testing!
