Easel cuts more shallow the further I go to the right

I am new to easel but I noticed some of my letters get more shallow the further I go to the right. I thought it was the way I constructed my x-carve for awhile but I have noticed when I am doing a set up in easel that the letters get more faint the further I go to the right (I am not carving) . It is unnoticeable on deep cuts but when it is shallow, it can be an issue. Is there a fix for this. It seems fairly consistent. JR

You might have to level your work board. I made a basswood work surface and bought a router bit dedicated to doing just that task.

I can see that resolving the issue. I will give it a try. Thanks for the suggestion Martin!
