Just download new release of that driver from SamyKamkar github and install. On my xubuntu 18.04 works without any problems.

The official release of the beta version is coming soon. We will be doing more detailed testing on all OSes. We have tested the current and yet unreleased driver on 20.04 and it is compatible. You should not have any issues with the update and Easel Driver compatibility.
