I’m importing svg file that were exported from VCarve. When trying to select a hole shape inside another shape it selects both. I sometimes can shift select to unselect outside shape, but on small shapes sometimes Difficult to just select one item. It is like they each overlay the others.
I figured out that because these parts are somewhat small. When importing, Easel assigns tabs to everything. You can only select a shape from outside the tab but within the path. On very small parts it is all tab or mostly all tabs so you cant select it.
Magnify the part as much a possible, then move selector very slowly and you can usually latch on to the smll/overlapping item. I also come at it from the top of the page which seems to help too.
