Hi. I’ve just assembled a carving kit and encountered trouble with stepper motor setup for the first time. When checking motors using jogging feature, Y and Z axis move OK. When jogging X axis, the motor initially turns the right way a fraction of a turn then ‘springs back’ the opposite way on its own. It does this even when disconnected from the leadscrew. Any ideas?
The problem seems to have gone away now - could have been a bad motor connection.
