Engraving Aluminum with a V-Bit

Dear All

Is it possible to engrave aluminum using a 60 degree V-Bit,
I am looking at making something like the one on the picture attached.

that looks to be stamped with letter dies. If you’re looking to do a lot of this, they may prove to be MUCH faster.

But yes it can be done, don’t take too sharp of a radius, and use lubricant. That last one may be the difference between success and failure.

Dear all! Thanks for the advice today I managed to do the label below, I used a 60 degree V bit on aluminum, I managed to finish the engraving in 1 hour 15 minutes.
